Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made on https://wordykid.com and related WordyKid services operated by LiLoLi Studio ("we", "us", or "our").
Payments on this website are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. This means Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment processing, applicable sales tax or VAT collection where required, and the operational processing of refunds and chargebacks.
1. Digital Products Covered by This Policy
We currently offer digital products and services, including one-time game or feature unlocks and one-time AI credit packs or similar consumable digital entitlements.
These are digital items, not physical goods. No shipping is involved.
2. No Automatic Global 14-Day Refund Guarantee
Because WordyKid products are digital content or digital services that may be delivered immediately after purchase, there is no universal automatic right to a refund once delivery, activation, access, or use has begun, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
If you are located in a jurisdiction that gives you non-waivable consumer rights, including rights relating to faulty digital content, lack of conformity, unauthorized charges, or statutory withdrawal rights that have not been validly waived, nothing in this Policy limits those rights.
3. Immediate Access and Loss of Withdrawal Rights
By purchasing a digital unlock, AI credit pack, or other digital product and requesting immediate access, activation, or use, you expressly request immediate performance of the digital service or digital content.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, once immediate performance begins, access is granted, a digital unlock is activated, or AI credits are used, your statutory right to cancel or withdraw may be reduced, lost, or become subject to a proportionate charge.
4. When a Refund May Be Considered
Refund requests are reviewed case by case based on the specific facts, applicable law, Lemon Squeezy requirements, our records, fraud and abuse checks, the type of product purchased, whether access or activation was delivered, whether the product was used or consumed, and whether a practical non-refund remedy is available.
Where permitted by law, we may choose the appropriate remedy in our reasonable discretion, including troubleshooting, re-delivery, reactivation, replacement credits, service extension, partial refund, full refund, or no refund.
We may be more likely to support a refund request where, for example, the same order was charged more than once, a purchased unlock was not delivered due to a verified technical issue, the purchased product was materially faulty or unavailable, AI credits were purchased but never used and the request is made promptly, or mandatory law requires a refund or other remedy.
5. When a Refund Will Usually Not Be Available
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, refunds will usually not be available for digital content or services that were successfully delivered, activated, substantially used, consumed, customized, or generated at your request.
This generally includes:
AI credits that were already used in whole or in part; game or feature unlocks that were successfully activated; digital products that were materially consumed after delivery; requests made after a long period of use; and purchases associated with fraud, abuse, manipulation, chargeback misuse, policy evasion, or violations of our Terms.
6. Purchases Made by Children
Purchases are intended to be made only by a parent, legal guardian, or another legally authorized adult. If you believe a child made a purchase without authorization, please contact us promptly so we can review the matter with Lemon Squeezy and take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law and platform procedures.
7. Faulty or Non-Conforming Digital Content
If a purchased digital product is faulty, unavailable, materially not as described, or fails to unlock after payment, please contact us promptly with enough detail for us to investigate. Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies, the appropriate remedy may include technical support, re-delivery, reactivation, replacement credits, a partial refund, or a full refund.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or report a payment problem, email contact@wordykid.com.
Please include, where available:
order email address; approximate purchase date; product purchased; Lemon Squeezy receipt, invoice, or order reference; a short explanation of the issue; and screenshots or screen recordings if the issue is technical.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Each request is reviewed under the applicable facts, our records, Lemon Squeezy procedures, and any mandatory law that applies.
9. Processing of Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued through the original payment method and processed through Lemon Squeezy or the relevant payment channel. Timing depends on the payment provider and bank processing times.
After a refund, reversal, chargeback, or payment dispute, we may revoke, suspend, or limit the related digital entitlement, unlock, or AI credits to the extent permitted by law.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you experience a genuine unauthorized charge, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue quickly. Filing a chargeback after receiving and substantially using digital content may result in suspension or revocation of associated access where permitted by law.
11. Regional Consumer Rights
Consumers in some jurisdictions, including parts of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Israel, may have additional rights that cannot be excluded by contract. This Refund Policy is intended to work alongside those rights and not to override them.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
