Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WordyKid and the related website, games, learning tools, AI image-to-game features, and digital products available at https://wordykid.com (collectively, the "Service") collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information.

The Service is operated by LiLoLi Studio, an Israeli sole proprietorship operating WordyKid ("LiLoLi Studio", "we", "us", or "our"). Business contact email: contact@wordykid.com.

Important Child and Parent Notice

The Service is designed for children and families. Children may use the Service only with the involvement, supervision, and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. Purchases, checkout, account linking, legally binding consent, and any decision to upload a child-related image, document, or other potentially personal content for AI or cloud features must be made only by a parent or legal guardian or another legally authorized adult.

We try to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate the Service, secure it, provide gameplay, process purchases, provide cloud continuity, show public leaderboard results when enabled, and provide AI-powered features. Parents and guardians should instruct children not to submit real names, contact details, faces, identifiable photos, government IDs, health information, school records containing personal details, financial information, or other sensitive data through the Service unless a specific feature clearly requires it and the submission is lawfully authorized by the parent or legal guardian.

If an upload, prompt, image, worksheet, or other submission appears to contain sensitive personal information, identifiable information about a child, or content that may have been submitted without proper authorization, we may refuse to process it, restrict the feature, remove the content, or delete it where appropriate to protect users, children, and the Service.

Scope

This Policy applies to information collected through the Service, support communications with us, purchase and refund communications, and information processed through our service providers on our behalf in connection with the Service.

Information We Collect

1. Information you or your child provide inside the Service

Depending on how the Service is used, we may collect or generate:

nickname or display name, player profile name, selected level or grade, source language and target language, gameplay progress, session information, scores, rewards, owned items, leaderboard entries, purchase selections, AI credit usage, optional browser push notification subscription tokens or endpoints and related device or browser identifiers, uploaded images or documents, support messages, and any other content intentionally submitted through the Service.

We do not require a child to provide a real-world name, phone number, home address, or payment card information to play the core game experience. If you choose to contact support or complete a purchase, additional information may be processed as described below.

2. Information collected automatically

We may automatically collect technical and usage information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, operating system, device type, language settings, referral data, page or feature usage, timestamps, crash and error logs, anti-abuse signals, cookie or local storage identifiers, and similar diagnostics and security information.

Some of this information may be treated as personal data or personal information under applicable law, including persistent identifiers and device-related data.

3. Local storage and similar technologies

We use browser storage, cookies, and similar technologies to keep the Service working, remember settings, preserve continuity, support security, and, where permitted, measure analytics and performance. Some data may remain on the device until deleted by the user, browser, or device settings.

4. Public leaderboard information

If public leaderboard features are enabled, certain game information may be displayed publicly, including a nickname or display name, level, and game-related balances or points such as coins and diamonds. Please do not use a real name or personal information in public-facing fields.

5. Purchase and transaction information

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We and Lemon Squeezy may process transaction data such as order identifiers, product identifiers, price, tax, currency, payment status, refund status, anti-fraud signals, and limited billing or contact information needed to complete the transaction, provide support, comply with law, and maintain payment records. We do not store your full payment card number on our own systems.

If a purchase is completed before an email address or other account-linking method is connected, the purchased access may remain tied only to the current local device identity and browser state until account linking is completed. This means the purchase may continue to work on the current device, but access may not be restorable on a different device, browser, or after local data is lost, cleared, reset, or replaced unless the parent or legal guardian completes account linking afterward. For that reason, we may show prompts after purchase encouraging account linking so the purchase can be saved and restored across devices.

6. AI feature inputs and outputs

If you use AI-powered features, images, worksheets, photos, prompts, text, and related content you submit may be transmitted to third-party AI and cloud providers so the requested output can be generated and returned to you. We do not intentionally use these uploads to train our own models. We instruct users not to upload sensitive personal information.

Third-party providers may process uploaded content, model inputs, outputs, logs, and metadata under their own terms, documentation, and technical settings. We seek to configure providers in a privacy-conscious manner, but provider-side logging, abuse monitoring, and retention may still occur.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

provide and operate the Service, create and run gameplay sessions, save progress, sync game state, deliver purchased products and AI credits, generate requested AI outputs, maintain security and fraud prevention, authenticate and authorize access, provide parent or user support, process refunds and disputes, maintain records, diagnose bugs, improve performance and reliability, measure analytics where permitted, comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and policies, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, children, parents, our business, and third parties.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we generally rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service and preventing fraud or abuse, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, and consent where required, including for certain analytics cookies or similar technologies.

Where consent is required for a child under the age set by applicable law, the consent must be given or authorized by the parent or legal guardian. Because national rules differ, especially in the EU where the age threshold may vary by country, parents and guardians are responsible for providing any consent required for their child.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly require a child to provide more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the Service. We do not knowingly request direct contact details from children merely to play the core game experience.

Where required by applicable law, personal information relating to a child should be submitted only by, or with the authorization and supervision of, a parent or legal guardian. If we believe child-related information, uploads, or AI inputs may have been submitted without proper authorization or in a way that creates privacy, safety, or compliance concerns, we may suspend processing, restrict access, request additional verification, remove the content, or delete it where appropriate.

If we learn that personal information from a child was collected or processed in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, limit use, and delete or de-identify the information where appropriate, unless retention is required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, complete payment or fraud reviews, maintain security logs, or comply with legal obligations.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us to request review, correction, deletion, or restriction of a child's information that we are reasonably able to locate and associate with the request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the identity and authority of the requester before acting on a child-related privacy request. To help us find the relevant data, please include the nickname or display name, approximate dates of use, screenshots if available, device and browser details, and any purchase reference you have. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We may use essential cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for the Service to function, maintain security, remember basic settings, preserve gameplay continuity, prevent fraud or abuse, and support core features requested by the user.

We may also use analytics, measurement, or performance tools, including Google Analytics or similar tools, where permitted by applicable law and our configuration. Where consent is required, non-essential analytics or similar technologies should be activated only after valid consent from the parent or guardian or other authorized user, as applicable.

Refusing or withdrawing consent for non-essential analytics should not block access to the core gameplay experience, although some optional measurement, personalization, or performance-related functions may be limited. You can also manage certain cookies or local storage through your browser or device settings, subject to technical limitations.

Optional Browser Push Notifications

The Service may offer optional browser push notifications after a meaningful gameplay moment. If a parent, guardian, or other authorized user chooses to enable them through the browser permission prompt, we may store a push subscription token, endpoint, or similar browser/device identifier under the authenticated user profile so notifications can be delivered.

We use optional push notifications for free rewards, new games, practice ideas, feature updates, service notices, and relevant platform updates. Enabling notifications does not guarantee an immediate reward. Notifications can be disabled at any time in browser or device settings. Child and parent authorization requirements continue to apply.

When We Share Information

We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

service providers and processors that help us operate the Service, including hosting, storage, analytics, AI, security, communications, and payment providers; payment providers and merchant-of-record partners such as Lemon Squeezy; cloud and infrastructure providers such as Firebase and Google Cloud; analytics providers such as Google Analytics; AI providers such as Google Gemini API or successor AI services; professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors, insurers, and accountants; law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Service; and a buyer, investor, or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

We do not sell children's personal information for money. We do not knowingly allow children to post direct contact information publicly through the Service.

International Transfers

We operate from Israel and use service providers that may process information in Israel, the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your place of residence.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, recognized adequacy frameworks, or other lawful transfer mechanisms used by our providers.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain continuity, provide support, process payments and refunds, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary by data type. For example, local device storage remains until cleared by the user or browser; gameplay and account-related cloud data may be retained while the profile remains active and for a reasonable period afterward; purchase and tax records may be retained for longer periods where required by law; and support, security, and audit records may be retained for evidentiary and operational reasons.

Uploaded AI content and related logs may also be subject to retention periods and settings of third-party providers.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure. However, no system, network, storage environment, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port certain personal data, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We may need to verify your identity and authority, especially where a request relates to a child.

You may also:

clear local storage and cookies through your browser or device settings, stop using the Service, contact us about leaderboard removal or nickname changes, and contact us about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests at contact@wordykid.com.

Third-Party Services and External Links

The Service may contain links to external websites or integrate third-party tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party services outside our reasonable control. Their own terms and privacy notices apply.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we may also provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate.
